Charles William Kelly is a filmmaker who's worn many different hats in the film industry over the past 10 years and considers it all to be apart of his learning process - try something, error, try again or something different.

Those 10 years have produced some good work he's proud of and some he would like to send to outer space.

Let's not get too sappy here. The currently state of affairs for this guy: he's hanging up the Director hat and taking all of his skills, taste, and drive to explore and pursue a path in filmmaking as a Director of Photography. By way of new insight, he's come to the awareness that he's been hiding in Directors shoes. What the kid inside him really wants to explore is Composition, Lighting, Camera Movement or Placement and the act of submitting his knowledge and abilities to the Director of a film project. While he believes the Director to generally have the most control and responsibility on set; and storytelling to be the most important aspect of filmmaking, but his heart lies in exposure and what images can do to support a Director's vision.
